Headquartered in Baku, Azerbaijan, Kuwait Investment House (KIH) is an independent, privately owned investment and advisory company with private capital of Kuwaiti and Azerbaijani origin, focused on facilitating, structuring, and selectively investing in private sector projects in Kuwait and Azerbaijan.
KIH operates as an investment platform for private capital, supporting interaction between investors and projects within the framework of bilateral economic relations between Kuwait and Azerbaijan. The company combines investment facilitation with private equity–style investment activities and applies corporate governance practices aligned with those commonly used by international development finance institutions (DFIs).
A core focus of KIH’s activities is Islamic finance advisory and investment structuring, aimed at designing Shariah-compliant investment and financing solutions for real-economy projects, while maintaining commercial viability, transparent risk allocation, and institutional robustness.
KIH’s objective is to mobilize private capital into economically sound, market-driven projects that support economic diversification, private sector development, and long-term value creation.
